Brent Voelker is the Director of Kinsley Energy Systems, responsible for business development, sales and service. Brent began his career in energy as a nuclear engineer on U.S. Navy submarines. He has over 28 years of experience in power generation and turbine & control systems design in aerospace.
Brent holds a BS in Engineering Physics from RPI and an MS in Energy Policy from VA Tech.
Kent McCord is responsible for sales and project engineering. Kent brings over twenty years of experience in the distributed energy field, including fuel cells, solar PV, combined heat and power, and waste heat-to-electricity.
Kent holds a BS & MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and an MS in Energy Management from NYIT.
Jim Colley is responsible for project management and operations. A 20-year retired veteran of the US Nuclear Navy, Jim served as electrical division chief in forward-deployed submarines, a senior electronics technician instructor at Navy Nuclear Propulsion School (Charleston, SC), and as supervising officer of submarine overhaul and repair (La Maddalena, Italy and Portsmouth, NH Naval Shipyard). Upon retirement, Jim owned and operated Fast Attack Motorsports specializing in the maintenance and repair of high-performance racing engines.
Steven Mathews is responsible for new business development. Based out of Philadelphia, Steven’s experience is in commercial HVAC and industrial electronics. He has worked in manufacturing facilities as an operations engineer, in offices with product management teams, and in the field as a sales engineer. He began his career as the lead sales engineer for a commercial HVAC manufacturer, where he led the roll-out across the US of a new product line that provides an energy-efficient retrofit solution to aging air handling units.
Steven holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
David Stevens is responsible for project engineering and supporting the sales team on new applications. He has eight years of experience delivering energy efficiency and oil refining projects and performing research & development for solar thermal and geothermal power systems. David holds a BE (Hons) in Mechanical & Space Engineering from The University of Queensland, and is a CEM and REP through the Association of Energy Engineers.
